At the Linz School of Education, we proudly present the "STEAM Innovation Research Lab & Maker Space Network for Austrian Teacher Education and Society," led by Univ.-Prof. Zsolt Lavicza. The project is funded by Austria’s Federal Ministry of Education at Johannes Kepler University (JKU). This initiative aims to revolutionize STEAM education by integrating advanced technologies and research-driven methodologies.
We focus on building a collaborative network of educators and researchers across Austrian universities and schools, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and resources nationally and globally. By partnering with international institutions, we implement global best practices within our STEAM Lab at JKU and share innovative approaches nationwide, fostering professional growth and development.
Our work includes creating cutting-edge tools like 3D printing, augmented reality, virtual reality, and robotics, making these resources accessible to educators through the STEAM Innovation Lab. Through these efforts, we are committed to enriching learning experiences and ensuring Austria remains a global leader in STEAM education.
Steam Lab's team culture is built on collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. We foster an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued, empowering every member to contribute their unique skills and ideas.
We celebrate successes together and view challenges as opportunities for growth, ensuring that our passion for education drives us to achieve our shared goals.
